Ever since 2013, Cybertecture Academy not only enriched my experience in architecture by doing hands-on activities such as model making and CAD, but also to develop collaborative, self-reflective and leadership skills from group work, consisting of presentation and communication skills, which I believe all are essential qualities of an architect. Furthermore, Cybertecture Academy’s field trips to well-known buildings, consultant firms further amplify my perceptions of creativity and how architects work in today’s society. Driven by my aspirations in architecture, Cybertecture Academy initiated the spark to fuel my drive, passion and confidence in achieving my goal to be an architect and to be offered a place to study architecture in Melbourne School of Design.
